One of the most important parts of our success is our team, so we’d love to take this opportunity to introduce you to one of the members of our team, Jesse Carpenter. He was kind enough to take the time to answer some of these questions for us!

How did you get started in the power washing business?  

I had a friend who had a business cleaning city sidewalks, and pressure washing graffiti for the City of Covington who went out of business. Since I was in the business of cleaning I offered him money for his equipment and started offering pressure washing services to our existing Gutter cleaning clients. It started to grow so I eventually created Kings of Clean as a stand alone business that works hand in hand with Cincy Gutter Boys.

What do you consider to be the thing about you most people who’ve met you wouldn’t guess?

That I barely graduated high school.

What is one thing you wish more people knew about the cleaning business?

That not all companies are the same. We all work with different equipment, cleaners and methods. Some work and some do not. You get what you pay for.

What’s one misconception most people have about power washing?  

That it’s just about high powered water cleaning your house. Most of the time if you are doing it correctly the cleaners are doing the majority of the work and heavy pressure is only used when you have to since it can be destructive to what you are trying to clean.
